In the role as Planning and Product Specialist you will focus on pricing for the North American Market, while also managing the Canadian B2B planning process. The Planning and Product Specialist will also be responsible for competitive pricing analyses, pricing according margin targets, product information distribution, and season pricing audits. This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Planning to develop the pricing SOP for North America. 
 
 The position is located at our North American HQ in Boulder, CO.

Your responsibilities
Preseason Pricing:        Support      Product and Planning Manager creating seasonal price strategies for North      America.    Assist in      developing and refining regional pricing files for US and Canada.    Partner      with Ops to identify risk profile and implications of any seasonal cost      fluctuations.    Conduct and      attend meetings with sales team for commercial feedback.    Create      seasonal pricing SOP with all relevant deliverables included.      Market Analyses: Create and maintain a standardized tool for seasonal      market price analyses.    Present market positioning by product group at      regional sales meetings (Bi-Annual).    Identify risks and opportunities within the US      and Canadian market based on competition.      Regional B2B Account Planning: Own Canadian      B2B Key Account Forecasting.    When      relevant, attend pre-season meetings with sales team.    Create and maintain a standardized tool for      account level assortment planning.    Lead item information distribution to sales and      marketing where relevant.    Assist Canada sales team with all reporting      needs.      Process Improvement:        Identify      opportunities to improve the planning and pricing processes and tools.    Participate      in the development and implementation of best practices for pricing and      demand planning. Develop      SOP for Canadian Key Account assortment planning.    Develop      SOP for Preseason Pricing.

Your profile
2+ years in a planning or purchasing role, preferably in the outdoor industry. Experience managing B2B customer demand and assortment planning. Experience pricing product across a diverse set of business units preferred. Excellent understanding of outdoor market (preferably in backcountry ski and/or climb) Acute attention to detail and highly organized. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and managing large datasets from diverse sources. Experience with Power BI or similar preferred. Previous experience as an assortment planner or pricing specialist preferred.
